"Redneck" a racial/ethnic slur

I find here lately the use of the term "redneck" to be a racial/ethnic slur along the lines of say, the "N" word, or the "D" word, etc. I have e-mailed the mods to protest this terms use, to no avail. Now is it's use allowed because we by nature are white? that would be racially motivated. Would I be banned for using the "N" word, yet not the "R" word? That would seem to be a travesty of free speech. What's up? You guys gonna' let one slide and not the other? Bear in mind I don't mind the term, but what is at issue here is fairness. I say use all the terms or use none. What is the rule?

Well when the time comes when we can look to our past and truly say that we were discriminated against like some of the other minorities have been then maybe I'll become offended about being called a Redneck.Until then I see complaionts like yours are just whining and sniveling.

Hey, cry me a river about the other minorities. Let's talk about today and fairness. I don't mind being called anything, but I demand the right to return the favor. You see what I'm getting at? I am sick and tired of all the PC. Neither you nor or have any right not to be offended. Never have, never will. That's all I am saying. Now I want these guys to take a stand one way or the other.
