redirecting pc-speaker thru sound card

I have some dos games that are hard-coded to use the pc-speaker (naturally).

Is there any way to pipe that sound through the sound card? (win xp/ sb live)

How about running a CD-Audio type wire from the PCSPKR jack on the mobo (where your speaker normally plugs in), to the AUX, CD, or TAD ports on the SB live?

thx for the input guys... I finally made it out to Fry's and, believe it or not, they don't have any CD audio type cables... nor do they have 1pin cables... any idea where I can score some?

I tried breaking up a 40 pin HD cable, but I can't get the connector to break into one row of pins...
