Redirect to a scam website ads

I won about $5,000 in gift cards trying to get here to post.
I’m sure I’ve won $200,000 in gift cards throughout today.
AT is the ONLY site this happens with
I tried Fire Fox Mobile same result
I phone 6, doesn’t happen on desktop browser (chrome) hasn’t happened on iPad yet
I don’t brows AT on the iPad often.

I’ll load the web tracer app/browser thing again to submit a log but I’d like confirmation where to send it and if I do will that person actually look at it? Using the web tracing browser is a major inconvenience

@outriding a not so elegant solution is to use Firefox focus as your browser.
Appears to be made by Mozilla I’m guessing it’s reasonably secure
Been using it since last night on iPhone 6 and haven’t been redirected.
Now the bad news:
When you close Firefox focus it tends to make you log into AT forums again, it does appear to ask you to download tappa talk a little more often.

Future PLC owns both Anandtech and Tom's Hardware. I get that exact same spam pop-up on my Samsung S10e phone on both of those websites only. I don't get them on any other sites so it has to be an advertiser that Future has an agreement with i'd guess.

I vote for future plc hold the ad company liable to reimburse us for not getting our gift cards

But seriously. This is lostrevenue for future plc because I just don’t visit for a day or so.

Please let us know if you're seeing these "ads" showing up again. It's my understanding they should not be back, so if they are, we'll need to raise this with our ad team right away.

Haven’t seen any in months, thank you for addressing the problem.
I do occasionally and just did run into this problem. Blank ad takes over most of the screen, stays on screen until I refresh.
Doesn’t happen often so I rate it as an occasional minor pain.
