I normally do a network install with floppy disk because I don't have a cd drive for my linux box.
I create the network bootdisk image with rawrite as I usually do, but soon finds out that none of the bootdisks work. I try with different floppies but with no results. Next I try the bootdisks in 7 different computers with no results. Hmm I began to see a pattern...
Being a little annoyed with floppies floating around in the house, I "stole" the 16/10/40 Plextor from my main system and put it into the linux box, and booted with the cd.
The cd booted fine and I thought my problems were over. I choosed expert-install as always and proceeded with the install. Right until I was told that it couldn't find the RedHat cd in my drive...
Could someone tell me what's going on here? 😕 Could this come from a bad burning or a bad iso? As far as I recall the iso was resumed multiple times with an older version of GetRight (which had a reputation of messing up files)
