I loaded Linux about a week ago.

What I can do:

Turn the unit on, login and logout, shut the system down.

What I would like to do:

I would like to make use of my SCSI CD Recorder, but don't seem to have time to read the Linux book that I bought or surf to the Redhat site and find documentation.

If someone could help me, I would be grateful. Also, I'm getting a virus detection on boot up; I'm given the option to abort the boot process or continue, I just continue and everything seems okay, but you never know. Also, anyone know of ISPs( DSL or cable )that provide Linux support? Without a binding contract preferably.

Thanks in advance,

What's the make and model of the CD-R?

Disable the virus protection in your BIOS. It's complaining because you altered the MBR when LILO (or GRUB) was installed.

So, in other words, you are too lazy to do it yourself and you want others to do it for you. You are not going to learn much with that attitude.
