RedHat 6.2 Installation Problems

When i install the KDE software package version in RedHat 6.2 on my box, the software installs but when it says 0 minutes 0 seconds left, I can move the mouse but everything is nonresponsive. When i reboot, instead of seeing BootMagic asking me what OS to boot, I see "LI_" and the computer does nothing. Any Ideas?
 
Sounds like your MBR (master boot record) is messed up. LI_ is a classic sign. You'll need to reinstall some kind of bootloader in your MBR, whether it's Bootmagic or LILO.

Your Redhat install won't finish properly?
