RedEye: Movie

You'll find yourself saying "Oh come on, that's so f'ing stupid" a bunch.

But Once I started I felt the need to finish it, so I guess it's good enough for that.

the chick is super hot but it was fairly stupid overall. I would vote no.

Watch her in Wedding Crashers. Skip Red Eye. It sucked.

better than i thought it would be, maybe not worth 4 bucks though

Dude, Hollywood Video MVP plan.

- unlimited rentals
- 3 movies out at a time
- keep the movies for up to 5 days with the non-premium membership
- $15 a month
- Never have to worry about how good a movie might be

I have that. Maybe I should wait a few hours until Hollywood Video opens and rent red eye on MVP.

If you really want to give it a chance, do that and don't waste your $4.

no its pretty dumb, the story is really linear and there aren't any twists whatsoever.

but for 4 dollars, why not

Warning: Spoilers for every movie of this type below

Protagonist goes into a plane/cab/bus/hotel/train
Antagonist informs him/her that if they don't perform a certain risky/immoral/criminal act then someone they love will die/come to harm.
Cat and mouse between Protagonist and Antagonist ensues with the Protagonist coming up with various possible ways to avoid said act (all of which end in failure).
Protagonist consents to perform said act but due to chance events/incredible heroics manages to turn things around.
Everyone lives happily ever after.

*see also "Firewall"

It's been done before

It's a tight little thriller. Not something you'd want to watch if you were looking for something to think about, but definitely entertaining for the most part.

Yeah, Rachel McAdams is hot. Strong performance by Cillian Murphy too. Worth it only because of those two.

I just watched this last night because it was one of the only appealing things available On Demand in HD. I thought it was mediocre, but not awful. Not a terrible way to spend 86 minutes. I give it two stars.
