Is there a way to set up a new Reddit as follows?

Anyone can join.
Only ONE thread per member.
Only THAT member can add to the thread.

ATOT rules won't let me say why, so don't ask.

Why not just sit in a corner and talk to yourself instead? o_O

Should be just about as "entertaining". ;)

Why not ask directly on the Reddit platform? Surely someone there would know better than here?

it sounds like you'd need a separate subreddit per person, with submissions restricted to just that person

a pain to set up and not centralized

I don't think so. Also that sounds kinda dumb. Might as well just link to a blog with comments disabled.

i second the poster above, "why?"
what you describe isnt a forum, it's a blog. what is the point of owning a thread, if you cannot have anyone reply to it?
anyway, im pretty sure you can just make a new subreddit and just not allow anyone to join.

'Why' is not the question, as noted above.

'If' is the question.

Goal is for any number of users adding information to their own thread and no other, though all can be read by anyone.
