Red vertical line on NEC MultiSync LCD 1760V?

Ok, I just put my system together. Here are the specs:

EPoX 8rda+
Athlon 2500+
ATI Radeon 9500Pro
WD 1200JB
LiteOn 52x32x52x CDRW
Antec Sonata Case

My monitor has a red vertical line that spans the full height of the screen, slightly offcenter to the right. What could this be? I figure I'm going to have to RMA it to NewEgg. Any ideas? Thanks.

If you see it all the time even while the machine is booting, I would say the monitor is at fault. If you can hook up another monitor to it, you can test whether or not it is the video card.
