Red Sox get Beckett and Lowell

This is a good trade....Lowell or no Lowell.....I suspect he was a roid guy, and without them he's struggled big time.

Ramirez isn't needed - Renteria is still young and has plenty of good seasons left...and with Papelbon and Hansen, they still have plenty of young pitching to help replace an aging staff..

Beckett's problems have been blisters, primarily...he's got A+ stuff and has already shown he can pitch in the post-season.

Yea...his stuff and his majorly cocky attitude will make him HUGE in Boston. He easily gets under the skin of his opponents because of his big mouth and I'm sure he's piss off a Yankee or two..much to the happiness of Red Sox fans I'm sure. He should be fun to watch against the Yanks. He's also not shy about going up and in on anyone. Good thing for him he's out of that hellhole in Florida..sure they won a WS but they have no fan base whatsoever and their stadium issue (football stadium + tons of rains/hurricane watches) is a disaster.
