Lost my hdd during an upgrade was why I stopped playing, but to be honest I was getting a little tired of dying so easily, on some maps anyway (like poryche). That's not to say I sucked. To beat my chest, I was regularly in the top 3 in large games.
This is an excellent Free mod (for the time being since it will win the MSU contest easily) that everyone needs to check out, at least if you have UT2k4. I actually purchased 2k4 just to play it. Can't wait for the MG42 to be implemented.
The bug where in certain levels when I go prone, I either fall through the ground or teleport to the middle of the room.
The bug when using stick grenades, I equip then hold fire and he doesn't throw it. Now I can't do anything but drop the grenades then pick them back up.
The bug when you use iron sighting and my weapon disappears, I need to drop it and pick it up again.
The bug when you use iron sighting and you can't move you view during iron sighting. Same fix, drop your weapon and pick it up again.
The bug where I shoot a guy and he doesn't get hit, even at point blank range. This happens sometimes.
The bug where I shoot over my teammates shoulder and he gets hit.
The bug of the G43 and other like weapons not being able to pick people at a distance. Seems like I miss no matter how many times I shoot them.
I think that's all of them. Other problems include stiff controls, they should be more loose and user friendly. For example, if im using the iron sighting, I should be able to run from there by pressing the shift key and forward, instead of waiting to press the ironsight key again once or twice to get out of that mode. In real combat this wouldn't be an issue. If I'm prone, I should be able to get up by pressing jump or crouch. I might also have to press crouch once or twice. I should be able to prone out of iron sighting too.
The technical writing sucks more than ASUS manuals.
The fact that all your ammo drops when your weapon drops, VERY REALISTIC...my ass. If your ammo is in your pockets how is that gonna happen. Maybe if I die that would be smart, but not while it gets shot out of my hands and my weapon is right in front of me behind cover and my ammo isn't. Not cool.
