Downloading now. Looks pretty good, the download site is like german though, any good US servers?

i played a little. it was pretty cool. better than battlefeld IMO, but not as clean. I was really disappointed in the star wars and alien swarm mods though.

Well I played it some. Sort of CoD with a bit more realism but somehow not quite as fun. Shrug. Graphics are nice though I wonder if they couldn't make foliage look better.

i thought that it was kind of like that to, but when i played it more i enjoyed it more. with the next release i am hoping that it will get even better. It is more strategic than COD, that's for sure. They are adding much more in this next release, according to the trailer

The new version has vehicles, and requires a hell of a lot more team play.
It's also harder than the last release (coming from a top-ish player of RO 2.1, usually at/near the top of the scoreboard)

much, much better, but this is not as arcady, it is based on realism. watch the trailer if you want, but it doesn't do the game justice

Yes.
The Devs cannot allow other sites to have the file up, nor can they post links to the torrent, because they have an agreement between themselves and FP, but for others to torrent is fine, it's a free piece of software.

The Fileplanet thing is just for publicity, not for money making reasons.
