I'd say mass quantities of red meat is bad for you, possibly... A bit every now and again is probably neutral at the worst.

This is why I am having a pork/pasta casserole dish tonight.

It's the other white meat.

That's why I rotate steak, pork, chicken, and fish.

I'm starting to love fish more than the rest.

Well that's why I mix in a Filet O Fish with my 2 Big Macs at dinner.

The aged medium-rare filet I had yesterday was delicious. One of the best I've ever had.

It's true. All of you should stop eating meat so I can have more. I'll fall on the sword for the good of ATOT.

Was talking to a vegan who was pumping my gas this weekend. Yes, in NJ they still pump our gas. Anyway, he was telling me that smoking isn't nearly as bad as meat consumption. Maybe it's the fumes? I laughed at him, got my gas and left. People want to believe what they want, so why argue? lol

I've cut down on my red meat, but when I do it's gotta be grass fed beef.

I don't tend to eat red meat often so I think I'm in the clear. Burgers is about the only form I really eat, and sometimes bacon. It's good to have SOME red meat though as it's a good source of iron, but yeah it's not good for the heart to have too much of it.

I never thought much about the meat I was eating until I tried going vegan for two weeks. I noticed a major difference in my overall energy level so i never went back to meat for every meal. I now eat mainly vegetarian meals with 1-2 meals per month that have meat. The cheese / dairy is the real challenge to never have :)
