i don't know
but
most portions in restaurants are enough for two people, unless you are an athlete on a high calorie diet for training

Yeah people want to complain about fast food places being detrimental for poor people who eat there everyday, but a big mac is only around 600 calories I believe.

Restaurant meals that people spend $12-$20+ on can be up to 1500-2000+ calories easily.

Although, once you start spending $30-$40 a person, the meals get much much smaller.

Cheddar Bay Biscuits are fucking awesome, and I really really like their Blackened Chicken Alfredo. The sauce is delicious as hell. The Biscuits alone make Red Lobster a place I must eat at at least once a year.

I read the OP and my opinion of Red Lobster is that it sucks dick. Don't get jealous though, I'm sure it will leave you plenty.

Thank you and have a nice day.

Well, maybe you might have noticed that some of the sentences in the OP had a funny symbol following them (?). It's called a question mark and identifies topics that the OP is looking to have addressed. You'll note that none of those sentences were requesting overall opinions of Red Lobster, rather, the topic of reduced portion sizes was questioned. You did manage to offer up some interesting lobster pictures, but sadly they didn't seem to have any actual information to contribute either. I do appreciate your continued efforts though.

I'll step out now so as not to hijack this thread. My apologies to everyone, but I just reached my limit of unnecessarily negative, irrelevant posts for one day.

You might have noticed you're a condescending prick who has inserted himself into a thread doing exactly the same thing you are accusing me of. Actually worse as you didn't even have a word to say about seafood.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming...

What sucks?

It depends ...

If you spend $30 or $40 per person at McDonalds, you'll find the meals are incredibly large ...

I only eat 2 things at Red Lobster:

1. All you can eat shrimp events
2. Lobster Pasta (totally bad ass)

The rest is over priced and doesn't taste good. Also, Red Lobster 20 years ago was a different place than it is now, quality went down hill, but those 2 things are still good and I go there from time to time.

problem with the shrimp is that it's probably full of heavy metals and PCBs.

well, not everybody is picky... their chicken sandwiches aren't bad, and they use good arabica beans for their coffee ....

That said, for my fast food money, Wendy's is by far the best choice, as baconators are superior to all McDonalds stocked items.

Also, White Castle is awesome, but too far away :(

Yeah. Wendy's is the best option around here as well when it comes to fast food burgers. No White Castles in Oklahoma either.

KFC chicken have gotten smaller along with higher prices. McD's raised the Big Mac price to the same as the quarter pounder and McChicken. Even Mandarin jacked up their lunch price by a couple bucks. Happening everywhere, oh well.

Went there the first and last time Christmas eve. Food was meh, portions were meh, and the service was 'look busy and ask a lot', and yet not bring what was asked.
Once the food was out servers were in our face asking to remove a plate, attentive and clearly focused on getting us out of there. I felt like we were getting the bum's rush. They got a craptacular tip from me.
