Red itchy bump on knee will not go away

For about 5 days, I have had this red itchy bump on my knee. I thought it was a bugbite, it looks like a big flea bite, but it will not go away. Any ideas?

Given that a majority of ATOT has *no* medical experience what-so-ever, I'm afraid that amputation might be the only answer to this problem you are experiencing. However, might also want to consult with a dermatologist.

Yup, better cut off the leg right above the knee.

Maybe fungus, allergic reaction, or oil from poisonous plant like poison ivy.

Front or backside of the knee?

I have a severe allergy on the 'backside' of my knees. Heat and sand seems to trigger it, making it swollen and itchy.

It is on the front of knee. The only thing that makes me think it is not a bug bite is that it has stayed the same size and color.
