Red Hot Chili Peppers

I was a little concerned when I first heard Dani California. It sounded ok, but I wasn't sold (except for the great video!). But now that I've heard the rest of the album, I'm thorougly impressed.

Snow (Hey Oh) is an amazing song. I'm liking a couple others quite a bit so far as well too. And Dani California is growing on me each time I listen to it.
 
Danny California is awesome. I heard another one of their new songs on the radio today too, it was classic Red Hots Awesome.
 
I love the first three RHCP albums (particularly the George Clinton-produced Freaky Styley), but IMO they started to suck as soon as they started to get big with Mother's Milk, and went into free-fall after Dave Navarro joined. One Hot Minute might be the worst album I've ever actually purchased.

It's not bad so far but it's just too long. I don't see why they released a 2 hour long album. Should have saved some of the songs for another cd or something.

A 2 hour long album isnt long enough for this hardcore fan. 😛

Not torrenting the album. I like the anticipation.
 
Yeah been listening to Stadium Arcadium about twice through now and I love the way it flows. John has definitely gone a little more hardcore on his riffs and Anthony's voice sounds better than in By the Way . . .

I agree. This album should appeal to those of you who really liked Californication but thought By The Way was too soft.
 
dude I downloaded it! Just pure awesomeness. So mellow but upbeat half the time.

This band has talent and isn't showing any signs of slowing down.

Just think if flea played in Nirvana.... *drools*
 
I like the RHCP too, thought the music video for Dani California was pretty lame though...

I never watch music videos anyways so i probably won't see it often again. Thanks for the heads up about the album.
