im downloading the 3 iso's of "Version: 9 (shrike)" do i really need all 3 install disk or just like 2 and the other is just programs. If not this a big os ;-)
 
You'll most likely need all three discs.

It's not that the installation will be massive, there's just alot of software to choose from during the install and the packages are (obviously) spread across all the discs.

The last version of redhat I used was 7.3. I only needed the first two discs for the installation, but it was a fairly minimal install.
 
Yea, get all three. When I installed it last, I remember needing the 3rd CD for like, 2 files. XMMS if I remember correctly. Better to have them then not.
 
K, Thanks i have no idea when im going to use them just saw a post in Walleyes thread with his all text redhat thingie ;p.
