Red Hat? or NOT?

hi, i am a Internet Tech, i would like to get into Security, and i know that i need to learn Linux, I am wondering if anyone has Red Hat and what there thoughts on it are? or should i go with Mandrak?
either way i am installing some form of it on One of my PC's Tomorow, so help me out here!
 
I personally would recommend Suse....or Redhat. Mandrake is not too bad a choice, but it can seem really drummed down at time (for newbies).
