Red Hat 9 install question

I'm trying to install Red Hat 9 and get the following error after I select the install method but before the installation starts...
Kernel Panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 48:05

I assume that Red Hats autodetection of hardware is failing to detect my hard drive. I've tried installing by their GUI and by text install with the same results.

Any ideas?
