Red hat 7.3 and Wifi problems

ok so i understand that i need the pcmcia package and the WiFi package and in theory when i configure my network setting and i add my card wireless should be one of the options i.e. you go to add your card and it lists modem, wired nic, ect.. it worked fine in 7.2... should i try 7.2 and an upgrade to 7.3???

I dont understand the question... Upgrade to 7.3 I guess, see if that fixes it... Or something.
