Red Green Blue pixels, when Pink?

Hello all. I bought an Eizo l550 a few weeks ago, and noticed at once that I had a stuck red pixel almost in the middle. Well anyway, yesterday this pixel turned pink. It has the same characteristics as before otherwise - it cannot be seen on dark background. I have reasoned and tried to think of how this could be, but I cannot. I cannot understand how the three sub-pixels are here.

I saw somewhere that MAX red, medium green, and HIGH blue makes pink.
All off gives black of course, and all MAX gives white. I dare say the red is stuck on max, but what about the others?

Edit: IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE - if the two other sub-pixels work as intended, or at least did when it still appeared red, then WHY can't it turn a lighter colour? If red is stuck on MAX, then tuning the other two to Max should produce WHITE, right? I guess that means that..hm..red is stuck on medium..but..then..it shouldn't turn black..gaah

I would too. I don't mind this pixel so much; I just want to understand the seemingly hopeless logic behind its color.
