RED EPIC HDRx footage

It's neat and all but I don't get what's so fantastic about it? Real-time, in camera HDR or something? DR of that scene doesn't look too wide. Oh, wait is that at night? I'm confused. Whatever they're showcasing, seems to me they could have used a better scene and/or processing.
 
i'm sold... my 5d mark 2 cannot hold a candle to this! Plus this is probably > 2k footage... epic is the FF sensor right?

Comes in FF35 or S35 (plus a few other monsters if you're so inclined). There's talk on the thread of adding HDR to the Scarlet for an extra grand...I'd gladly pay that, to get that capability...wow! :wub:
