Red Dwarf DVD question

Anyone have the DVD? I'm curious because there are apparently some weird things with the show. I want the whole thing on DVD. All of the episodes.

Sorry for the stupid question, but I don't want to buy the wrong thing. Aren't there like two seperate Red Dwarf shows, or something?

That looks like the correct DVD yes.

There is not 2 different programs no. I was under the impression each series was £19.99 in the shops here which was double DVD, but then it's probably a different format over there?....more expensive too.

Well, it's $63.23 for two sets in England if each one is 19.99 GBP, so $57 is a bit of a better deal.

I'll probably wait to buy this until next year, but I want to make sure it's the right one.

Oh, I think I see the confusion: In England, they call seasons "series." So Series 1 & 2 are really just Seasons 1 & 2. I think there are 4 seasons/series all together.

Sorry was mistaken, checked with a mate and they are about £14.99 per series/season.

So it's not a bad deal I guess. In total there were 8 or 9 series/seasons of Red Dwarf....

The first one was very basic in places, really low budget but it got better, the humour was always classic....5th and 6th series were very popular and contained some of the best loved episodes.

Series 7 was below average, anything after that was a steaming pile of camel turd.

My favourite episode is "Legion" from the 5th series (I think)

Most TV programmes start in september and go through to december so they go through more than 1 'season' so series makes sense - crazy Yanks 😀
