squat. It's a scam. It's no different from drinking coffee or mountain dew. I feel no different after drinking it when compared to those things. How is this an energy drink? It doesn't even taste especially great.

Well red bull is at least a bit healthy for you.

Plus if you think mountain dew tastes better then red bull then I feel sad for you. 🙁

I never said it tastes better. I just said red bull doesn't taste especially good either. And how's it healthier for you? I read the label and it contains something called Taurine as the 3rd ingredient on the list. What is this? Bull urine?

It does have alot of vitamins in it.

Also if the french don't like it then I say the more reason to drink it. 😀

Linky

It contains an irrelevant amount of vitamins.

Still better for you then pop/soda that just has sugar. 😛

Yep. Vitamins cannot give you energy.

Well, they can (if you're sick or just consume less than you should [like most people living on trash instead of keeping a healthy diet do]), but you have to consume a really significant amount to feel any effect.

A quick example: most drinks/foodstuffs advertised as "vitamin-C rich" only contain 50-60mg of it, but that amount is only enough not to get scurvy and you consume much more every day, anyway...
Several grams of Vitamin C a day would help to get rid of a mild sickness, but that's it, it's not magical. Animals able to produce it, like the goat, have a daily intake of 10000+ milligrams. They are more resistant to sicknesses, but that kind of amount is not accessible for most of us. The vitamin business is full of scammers. It would be a good thing to consume vitamin-enriched food, but the companies, knowing that the average citizen knows nothing about vitamins, only implement irrelevant amounts in their "magical" products (like Red Bull).

Addiction.

no kidding. I drink one every morning. I buy it by the case at Sams Club.

The stuff from Thailand is pretty potent. I've got some bottles from there and some from the Ukraine.
