Red Alert2 won't play because of my USB Mouse!

I have a Logitech Optical Mouse and it's USB. I know I can buy a PS2 converter, but it looks really crappy and also USB automatically recognizes the pluged devices.

Too bad my Red Alert2 doesn't want to start, saying it doesn't detect any mouse.

Any ideas?

um, red alert 2 worked fine for my usb mouse.

what OS are you running?

i've played red alert 2 on win98se with my MS intellimouse explorer
