Recycling spare parts for another rig but trouble with video card

I'm gathering some old parts that I've had laying around for quite some time just collecting dust. The video card, radeon x1800xt has a red light and I'm assuming that its a power issue but the psu is brand new. Here are all the components listed below.

Asus a8n32-sli deluxe
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Toledo 2.2GHz
Sapphire Radeon X1800XT
Corsair CX430 PSU
Corsair XMS 3500LL PRO 2 X 1 GB
Seagate barracuda 40GB HDD
APEVIA X-Navigator ATXA8NW-BK
Some old DVD-rom

I was under the assumption 430Watts would be sufficient to power this thing up, please correct me if I'm wrong. These are all old parts except the PSU.

I tried putting in another video card, Gigabyte Radeon HD 6670. I believe it uses less power and it doesn't require a dedicated power source from the psu but I am still seeing nothing on the screen nor hear any beeps from the motherboard signalling any type of problems.

I guest your os is windows xp. so on startup. what are the beep.did you try another monitor

there's no beeps at all. The monitor and plug works fine. Tested it with another computer.

ok silly me, figured out the problem. didn't plug in the atx12v
