Recycle Bin won't refresh...

Hey all,

I am having a small, but annoying problem with Windows XP Pro. Recently, my recycle bin has stopped refreshing automatically when I empty it. If I empty it, the full icon stays on the desktop until I do a manual refresh with F5. When I used to do it before, it would refresh like normal, as soon as you emptied it. Now, it doesnt do that. Is there a simple setting that may have been disabled, or possibly something I might be missing? If anyone knows, let me know. Thanks.
