Recycle Bin Problems with Win98

I got a Western Digital 100GB hard drive for Christmas. I parttioned it into a number of 25GB partitions and did a fresh install of VVin98.

After the install I got an error when I tried to empty the Recycle Bin. It said the Recycle Bin is the wrong format. I installed all of the Windows Updates and rebooted ar few times. This seemed to fix the problem.

Now, whenever I try to Delete something it will delete and then my Explorer Window will lockup and I need to End Task it.

Also, when I try to Empty the Recycle bin it takes a long fine to empty.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks,

Chris

I've had this problem with win 98, i fixed it by deleting the recycle bin and letting windows create a new one.

Restart in MS-DOS mode and delete all the \recycled
folders:

deltree /y c:\recycled

Hope this helps
