Recycle bin not working

Well, I bought a new hdd and transfered data from my old hdd partitions over. Since the drive letters were different, I had to rename them so my installed software will work. Only issue is, for anything except the C partiton, the recycle bin doesn't work. Everything I delete is auto deleted and does not jump into the recycle bin. Does anyone know some kinda registry fix for this?

Right click the recycle bin > properties > select "use one setting for all drives", now choose a %, uncheck "do not move files to the Recycle Bin...", and then click on Apply.

Actually, I've already tried that. It's not that simple though unfortunately. Upon windows load up and clicking on the recycle bin, it says my D and E drive's recycle bin is corrupted.

Boot to the XP cd and hit 'R' at the first screen, choose your windows install and hit 'enter', if no password hit 'enter' again, then at the prompt type CHKDSK /R
