Recycle bin filling up by itself

alfa147x

Lifer
im running Win XP SP2 Pro and my recycle bin is filling up on its own with duplicates of a folder (its called {F8A79257-07D9-1033-1126-040219040001}). every time i empty the bin, it fills up again with the same folder like in a minute. After that, exact duplicates are (made) and recycled with the other ones. Im thinking its a page file, but something is wrong. Any ideas of how to fix this?

Dude that can't be good. Back your data up NOW.

It's either a nasty little virus, some app gone wrong or something totally fubar in the OS.

No, I wasn't being sarcastic. Rather very serious... back your stuff up quick. Doesn't hurt to be safe.

How could some app do this? Thousands of ways but a couple guesses would be like some malware that got into your system or a good app gone bad (corrupt config, buggy software, etc.).
