Do you have it set to not use the recyle bin?
I don't think you can do both...

Ok I lied at least in Win2000 you can use both...

no i have it set to use the recycle bin. like 10% of my harddrive space. that's default i think. i just want this stupid popup go away. i have a feeling it's someting with sp2. but not for sure. i don't know if this goes along with the same problem. but in my internet explore i set the text size to medium. but when ever i close it, it goes right back to "smaller". It seems my os is having a problem remembering some settings.

Hold down the <SHIFT> button while right-clicking and selecting "Delete" (or while pressing the <Del> key). Instead of the recycle bin, the item will be deleted permanently (still with a prompt).

naa, i just want to use the recycle bin still, i just don't want that pop up. it's not even that bad, but just the fact that it's not working correctly and i want to fix it.
