Recurring Spyware

Hi,
So I ran Spybot 1.3 to get rid of the spyware and it came up with a bunch of stuff that I deleted. After some time I ran it again, and I got 8 entries of "VX2/f" and 5 entries of "DSO Exploit. I cleared those, but when I ran it again a few hours later, I got the same exact entries.

What's up with that? It doesn't seem to be going away.

Thanks...I'll have to check out the VX2 cleaner

Edit: I just tried installing that add-on, but I can't seem to find "Add-Ons" within Ad-aware. There's a plug-ins though, but when I click on that I get a "Bad Entrypoint". I have Lavasoft Ad-aware 6.0 Pro. What am I doing wrong?

Well the VX2 cleaner said it would work for all versions of Ad-aware, so I assume it should work with Ad-aware 6 Pro too? Or does it not?

the new version might have it built in (not sure)

sounds like you had a bad install of the plug in, try running adware SE (it should prompt u to unistall 6), run a full scan with the updated adaware SE 1.03, if it still did not clean it, then try to add the plug in to it.

Thanks. That version of VX cleaner over at majorgeeks works, and it states there that it's for Adaware 6. The original link you posted states that its for Adaware SE. Anyway, I ran the plugin and it says my system is clean. Weird...let's hope I don't get any more weird VX entries again when I run Spybot.
