Recurring settings in dreams

Am I the only one that continually encounters a repetitive setting in their dreams... And can then recall it as though it were a normal memory?

Totally worthless example (Unless someone wants to psychoanalyze this):
In my dreams, I continually encounter a massive... plaza. It appears to be set in the center of my "home town" (if you can call it that, it's actually significantly larger than the town itself). The only roadway that I've seen leading to it dead-ends into a parking lot. It's always nighttime. The whole plaza is set into the ground at least 40 feet, the parking areas and surface being connected to the bottom by a series of stairwells, and a few steep grassy inclines. Only one side has vertical walls on it (the side opposite the parking area is vertical), and there are 2 levels. The second level is simply a catwalk along the vertical perimeter wall, and is only about 30 feet long. There is a center island thing with perfectly vertical walls that extends up high toEverything is decorated in dark glass and black marble with polished metal trim bits. There is a large, curtainless "stage" at either end, raised about 5 feet above the bottom level, and seperated from the rest by a calm, man-made pool of water. The whole place measures about 50 yards wide, but is INCREDIBLY long. I'd say at least 300yd from end-to-end. In the center, there is a large pillar that extends all the way up to the surface level. On top of it, there is pavement. On the side with the parking lot, there is a catwalk leading onto it. The top is surrounded by safety rails made of glass, metal and stone just like everything else. There only appear to be 2 rooms. One is a bathroom. A huge, ornate bathroom located on the second level. And by "huge and ornate" I mean it's more of an indoors garden than a bathroom. This room is easily 30x30yds, and in the far corner (opposite the entrance) are 3 urinals and 1 toilet. It's apparently a unisex bathroom. It also looks out on one corner (the other back corner) on a massive, at least 50x50 computer lab. No idea where the entrance to that is.

All the lighting is accent lighting - there are no main light sources. This makes it very dark, and yet very romantic at the same time. The moon seems to have gone, all that's left in the sky is a faint cloud of dust where the moon should be and the stars, which now shine by the BILLIONS, which shouldn't logically happen because of where I "know" it to be located - only a short distance from urban centers. Very rarely are people around. It's usually just me and any other petinant characters seem to appear out from behind any of the hundreds of planters in the bathroom, or from behind a corner, or on occasion just appear out of nowhere behind me. The only exception to this seems to be the very last one I had, where the entire place was flooded by bikini-clad teenaged girls who were there for some sort of concert, though no other signs of a concert (speakers, band, musical equipment on-stage) existed.

The only recurring setting that happens to me (has happened probably 5 times or so that I can remember) is in the mountains in the middle of a big snowstorm with really tall, dead skinny trees. Most of the time I come falling out of the sky and wake up in a cold sweat when I hit the ground. I know there have been some others, so no you're not alone :)

I've had a recurring dream for years that had me dreaming that i had taken a bunch of courses at school, had great grades, but then purposely skipped the final exam and failed. It was just my subconscious guilt telling me i shouldn't have dropped out of my program... and now that i've returned, i haven't had the dream since.

Another recurring dream i have is one where i went back to prison... and as i'm heading to the cafetaria to sit at the table, all my friends there either leave or ignore me. Again, guilt that i lost touch with them when i came out.

In my early twenties I had a promiscuous lifesyle. I had a recurring dream for years about a female that would attack me while having sex. Her appearance never changed during the dreams. She was really attractive until her teeth literally turned to razors and tore at my flesh. Since then, I decided to have less partners and I no longer have the dream. I think the dream was due to guilt, not that I mislead anyone I dated but because I knew my lifestyle choices at the time wasnt right.
