Rec's on a good portable DVD player?

stay away from noname brands, tend to have funky reliability and ugly screens. size isn't the main thing. philips new models are the sweetest. i have the 8.5" one. its about 200 bucks at frys, is ipod white and has a nice crisp bright screen with good contrast. it also plays divx, battery life is 6 hrs. other models are generally lousy at contrast, fuzzy, soft etc. the 7" one is 150bucks, 4 hr battery life. theres a larger model too but i don't remember its stats. saw the 7" one at walmart for 150.

front is matte black, outside cover is white. and they garrantee no dead pixels

just know that below 400+ bucks u don't get full res dvd. they are all lower resolution, 400x something i forget. it looks ok in a sorta mini plasmaish way, atleast with the philips, the difference between that ones screen and the competitions is rather striking.
