The TeAm is engaged in a race in PrimeGrid (see appropriate thread close by).

We have a "In-Challenge"-race going on between BOINC@MIXI (#11), TeAm AnandTech (#12) and Polish national Team (#13). We keep changeing places in the stats.
Can we recruit some more crunchers?
We need all the power we can get! :)

Please read the OP of the above mentionned thread and join!

I joined but I can only do CPU.
I got 4 tasks and each estimates around 2.4k hours!

    Is the estimate accurate?

BOINC almost never estimates accurately between CPU and GPU tasks on the same project. Let it run for an hour, calculate 100/%done, e.g. 100/.25 for 0.25% done, and you'll have a better estimate in hours. You can expect the CPU tasks to take several days, though.

Thanks. It looks like I'll be able to complete one task in approximately 200 hours.
I should be good to deliver 4 tasks in time. :)

I'm a little late to the party...I have 3 machines in. Not sure how effective my fx8120 and 1055T's are going to be. 1:40 into it and only 0.8%.

That comes out to 8.7 days. Those are two very different processors, but if they're both working at that speed everything should get done in time.

Fortunately I might be able to get 2 WU before the conclusion of the challenge since it is now at 17% and has approx. 200 hours
