Recovering Word Docs

My older sister just called from college ballin her eyes out because she saved over a research paper with an older version of the paper. Shes runnin XP, and i need to know quick if there is anyway to get the new version of this paper back?

Just ran a test - No luck - unless she made a backup previously, she is SOL.

Word should have informed her of the potential conflict. If she ignored it, then that is her doing.
