I just accidentally reformatted one of my FAT32 partitions from a windows 98 boot disk by running the command "format c: /q /u /s" (I was trying to format the disk in drive b, i'm just stupid and typed the wrong letter). I have win2k on the computer, and I was wondering if there is any way to recover the contents of the disk, since I only did a quick format.

Also try Directory Snoop
It's a file recovery tool (shareware but fully functional) that I have had great success with. You may need to put it in another Win98 system as a slave first though.

Actually (someone correct me please) I believe the u command you gave (for unconditional) cancels out the q command (quick)
