Recovering deleted files from a Palm.

Hey guys, I was reading an article the other day that said that it is possible to recover deleted files in a palm.

Is this true? Anyone knows any written soft to do this?

Cause I researched and found a couple of soft that makes an exact image of a palm's RAM.

So... in both cases (deleted & present), can files be recovered in ALL versions of palms & palm OS or are they any restrictions?

Some people at another forum got my question a little mixed up; I wasn't very clear actually.

I'm talking about recovering the files deleted in the palm, NOT recovering from the backup on a hard disk.
I'll put it more clearly in view with an example:

Some guy stoles your palm, goes to his PC, connects it and with some special soft he can recover your deleted files by dumping the "free" space to a file on his PC. Maybe he can get individual data files.

Do you get what I mean? Actually, this was said by the article to be doable now, but I lost it and I wanna be sure it can be done.
