Recovering Data after Format

Hard drive was running WinXP, NTFS, I formatted it (having serious problems with it)...I need to recover data from it...

Any free 😉 software that can recover my files?
 
I'm using File Scavenger 1.40c right now, and it works fine, IF you know the file name of what you're looking for, but in my case, my HD was formatted...the entire thing was data, no OS stuff, so I can't really search for everything on the hard drive...

Any software you guys suggest?
