Obviously not a pressing issue, just an idea as a feature.
When someone changes their email address and mistypes it, they lose access and have to wait around for a mod to reset it or something (I presume). What would be cool, especially for a very large forum, would be a "change it back" button somewhere, either in the "view profile" or the login screen, that exists for 24 hours or something after an address change. If you haven't yet logged in with the new password since you didn't receive it, you can just change back to your old email address and get a new password sent there. After 24 hours, it's assumed you've received the password at the new email address otherwise you would have already changed it back.
That might be a lot to code though, since the server would have to keep track of the length of time since you changed it. Maybe have it only check when you specifically hit that button, rather than having it constantly checking and then removing the button at the end of 24 hours.
I guess an easier way to do the same thing would be confirmation emails sent to the new address, where until it's responded to, your new address and password don't take effect. You change your address, respond to the confirmation email, and a new password gets sent since your address is now verified valid.
