I recently restored my HP ze4100 laptop (man next time I am getting a Dell), and I tried to uninstall all the programs I don't use. I uninstalled RecordNow using the XP control pannel and it appears to work. When I reboot, however, an installer runs and reinstalls RecordNow. Any idea how I can fix this problem and keep it from reinstalling?

check your startup folder in the start menu.
also, check in your registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run to see if there is anything related to recordnow.

It's the evil Install.msi that is in some temp folder, If it's one of the older versions of RecordNow.

Yeah it is an older version of RecordNow (2 years old or so), but I can't seem to locate any Install.msi file on the computer anywhere.

Try the folder: C:\WINDOWS\Installer

You will need to unhide files and folders and uncheck system files.
