Recording Whats On Your Screen

Is there a program(free) that will record what is happening on your screen. Cuz I need to record me playing a game of mine.

alot of games have built in demo recording, some even record to video files.

I can't help, but what your game is might help others out in helping you.

its Star Wars Galaxies, I know there is a program that does it because my friend does it all the time, but he is away for 2 days and im thinking of just running to his house and stealing it lol

Camtasia looks hawt 😀 but it's $400, isn't it?

Given enough CPU horsepower, Windows Media Encoder 9 Series might be worth a try. I did a quick test with it capturing FarCry and it's a performance disaster on single-core, but dual-core might be able to handle it. However, it does capture what's on the screen even in a Direct3D full-screen situation.
