Hi,

I have an RX100mk3 and want to make some outside and inside vids using a tripod where the person beeing filmed have like this small mic near head, and perhaps a small recorder stucked away? (i am a newbee on this aproach)

Only mono is needed. Solid quality, but not super pro. Something like perhaps less than 2-300 usd total for mic and recorder.

Doesnt need to take a lot of wind and any rain.

What do you recommend?
- is this the right forum to ask btw?

I am in a hurry so i bought a Rode Smartlav+ and will use the phone as a recording device. Very cheap.

Use a lavalier mic and a smartphone as a person worn recorder. Do the sync in post.
Wireless transmitters are only needed for multi channel recording and live broadcast. Headsets are more immune to head rotation, but they are "in the middle of the face". Lavalier Mics are cheap and proven. e.g. Røde SmartLav. have same tape to fix the cord to avoid noise from cord to cloths. And DO buy a windscreen aka. dead cat (and maybee one spare). You will miss the windscreen the day you move outdoors. Invest in a recorder software with some compression for your smartphone/iPod. You will need a budget <80 USD. For even less: get a Audio Technica ATR 3350 or iRig Mic Lav.. If you want to spend more money, go for a Nagra recorder and a DPA 4080 mic.
