Recording TV from TV Tuner

**I also posted this in the software forum, but I thought it applies in this forum as well**

I am looking to record tv shows on my desktop and to schedule them ahead so that i can burn to DVD later. I have an ATi 9600 SE All in wonder.. any ideas?

ATI MMC? It has an epg and PVR features. IIRC, it even supports burning to DVD with the library application. It should have come on the install disc, and updates are available at ATI.

sagetv or beyondtv work very well. I use BTV myself and have been very happy with the quality and results.

SageTV isn't an option for his AIW card, its an unsupported tuner.
