Recording to VCR from PC

Hi, my brother just asked me this, and i didnt know, so maybe you guys can help. Basically, he's got some edited video on his computer and he wants it recorded to a VHS tape. Whats the best way to do this? Preferbly through an external device. Thanks!
 
when i've done this, i've always used my video card that has TV output (composite or s-video). if you do this, you need to play your video in full screen to make it appear full screen on the TV. otherwise, you need a program like ulead video studio (which is the only thing i have used) which will play your video for you, set to output to TV.
