Recording to Divx with an ATI Rage Fury Pro

So i've got this card with VIVO, i can record stuff from my camcorder to computer, but it gets weird after about 2 minutes, it starts loosing frames and such......and the files are huge, is there anyway i can record directly to DIvx, instead of using ATIVCR or whatever? Any tips for recording in general? Thanks

I don't think you can go straight to Divx. But you should be able to use MPEG2 and adjust it so th efiles aren't so huge, then go to Divx. Download ATI's Muultimedia Center 7.1 if you haven't already, it's much better than the earlier versions.

use a program called virtualdub... it's one of the best recording programs around... the best IMO
