Recording Streaming Video with Sound

Is there anyway of recording streaming Video with Sound?
Ive heared there are programs that can record a set area of the screen and such.

I have heared of some programs that can do this but i havent found a download of them.

I dont know what format the stream will be in yet, but im guessing it will either be ASF of Real Player.

Hmmm....the only way I've seen so far, is through ATI's various AIW software apps.
