Recording Phone Calls.. Legal Question

OK, I know in most places you have to disclose to the other part that you are recording a call, but what if I call some corporation and they have an automated message that says "for training purposes this call is being recorded"

Legally, do I also have to inform them that I am recording it, or since they told me they're recording it, I can just go ahead and record?
 
It depends on your state law. In my state only one party has to know the recording is taking place. So if you live in one of those states then you can record to your heart's content.
