Recording electric drumset to pc

I have this TD-3 Drum Module and this MSI K8T800 motherboard. No sound card.

I was wondering how I would go about finding a way to record my drums onto the pc.

LINE OUT from drum box to LINE in on PC. (onboard sound?) If your motherboard has no onboard sound you will need a sound card.

You need to buy one of those things, that hook up to the thing, with the thing on it, and then you flip the thing and turn the thing on.

Then it should work.

you would do it electronically.

let's break this down. you want to record sounds... you have no sound card.

get a sound card, and either record via midi (digital data) or actual generated tone ( sounds)

you need a sound card.

alright. what do i need to look for in a sound card? something with a 'line port' or something else? sry im not up on sound what-so-ever.
