Recording (Audio) Software

I need some recording software. 4 tracks is fine, but of course more doesn't hurt. I'd like something as easy to use as possible, as I'm just starting to learn recording and stuff like that. If possible, I'd like the interface to be close to a 4-track hardware recorder.
